Who this covers
Adlux Media (“Adlux”, “we”, “us”) runs adluxmedia.com and app.adluxmedia.com. Adlux sells inbound final expense calls to licensed insurance agents.
This policy covers our public website, sign-up, sign-in, the Adlux portal for agents and agencies, and the emails and texts the portal sends. Our demo booking privacy notice explains the information used when you book a demo and how booking measurement works.
What we collect
Visits to the public website
When advertising measurement is allowed, our public homepage and demo-booking pages record visits, clicks, video progress and booking steps. These can include campaign labels, a Meta click identifier, browser and session identifiers, and browser information. Optional Microsoft Clarity recordings and heatmaps help us understand how people use the public website. These tools do not run inside your signed-in portal.
Your account
- Your name, email address and mobile number.
- Your password. We store it only as a salted one-way hash, never as readable text.
- Whether you signed up as an agent or an agency, your company name if you give one, and your time zone.
- A profile photo, if you upload one.
- If you run an agency team: the email addresses of the people you invite, and who is on your team.
Your call settings
- The call types you pick (Meta, YouTube, Connected TV), the states you are licensed in, the phone number your calls ring to, your hours and time zone, and your daily and at-once call limits.
- Whether your calls are switched on or off, and when they pause because your balance is low.
Your wallet and payments
- You pay on Stripe’s secure checkout. Stripe collects your card details. Adlux never sees or stores your card number.
- From Stripe we receive your Stripe customer reference, the amount, the time, and whether the payment went through, failed or was disputed.
- Your wallet history: money you add, each call charge, any hold on your wallet, and any credit given after a bad-call review, with the balance after each one.
Your calls
- Call records from our call-tracking provider: the time, length, call type, a masked caller number, and whether the call was charged.
- Call recordings and transcripts stay with the call-tracking provider. When you play a recording or open a transcript, the portal fetches it from the provider for you, and we note in your account records that you opened it.
- Notes and outcomes you add to your calls.
Messages
- Your email and text choices, and when you agreed to receive texts and for which number.
- The notices we send you in the portal, by email and by text, and whether each one was delivered.
Support messages and bad-call reports
- Messages you send our team, and our replies.
- Bad-call reports, the call each one is about, and the result of the review.
Sign-ins and account activity
- Each sign-in: the time, how you signed in, and a browser and device name such as “Chrome on Mac”, picked from a short fixed list. We do not keep your full browser details, your IP address or your location with these records.
- A record of important account events, such as changes to your settings, turning calls on or off, wallet entries and signing out of other devices.
- To stop repeated sign-in and sign-up attempts, we count attempts from each IP address for a short time. The count is stored only as a one-way hash and deleted within an hour.
How we use it
- To create your account, keep it secure and sign you in.
- To set up your calls and send them to the number, hours and states you chose.
- To add money to your wallet, charge for calls, show your balance and email your receipts.
- To review bad-call reports and answer support messages.
- To send the messages your account needs (email confirmation, password reset links and wallet receipts) and the updates you turn on.
- To keep Adlux safe: show you where you are signed in, tell you about a sign-in from a new device, stop abuse and fix problems.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
How long we keep it
- We keep your account information while your account is open.
- Sign-in sessions end after the times above, and ended sessions are removed. Password reset links stop working after 30 minutes. Sign-in attempt counts are deleted within an hour.
- When you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymize the information we no longer need.
- We keep wallet, payment, call-charge, support and account activity records after an account closes for as long as we need them for accounting, tax, disputes, fraud prevention and the law.
Your choices and rights
- Update your details. Change your name, company and photo in Settings. To change your email address, contact us.
- Choose your messages. Turn email and text updates on or off in Notifications. Each update email has an unsubscribe link. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. Wallet receipts are always emailed, because they are records of your payments.
- Stop your calls. Switch your calls off at any time with the On/Off switch on Take calls.
- Get a copy of your data. In Settings, choose “Request a copy of your data”. It opens a support message for you to send. You can also email [email protected].
- Correct or delete your information, or close your account. Email [email protected]. We will check that the request comes from you before we act on it.
Depending on your state, you may have more rights under its privacy law. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
- The site uses HTTPS. Passwords, sign-in session keys and password reset links are stored only as one-way hashes.
- Our team will never ask for your password or card number.
- No system is perfectly secure. If a security breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Adlux is for licensed insurance agents. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the portal or by email before it applies.
