The short version

  • Adlux sells exclusive inbound final expense calls to licensed agents. Each caller is sent to one agent only.
  • You pay from a prepaid wallet. The minimum deposit is $225.
  • A call is charged only when it lasts the qualifying length: 90 seconds, or 60 seconds for Connected TV calls.
  • You can report a bad call. Every report is subject to review, and a credit is given only if the review approves it.
  • You are responsible for your licenses, and for any calls, texts or emails you make to callers later.

What Adlux provides

  • Adlux sells inbound final expense calls to licensed insurance agents. People respond to our ads on Meta, YouTube and Connected TV and call in about final expense coverage. We send those calls to the phone number you choose, during the hours you set, from the states you pick.
  • Every call is exclusive. A caller we send to you is never shared with another agent.
  • Call volume depends on our ads, on callers and on your settings. We do not promise a number of calls, sales or any other result. Close rates or other figures we show are averages reported by agents, not a guarantee.
  • We may improve, change, pause or stop parts of the portal or the service. If a change takes away something you rely on, we will tell you in the portal or by email.

Who can use Adlux

  • You must be at least 18, based in the United States, and hold a valid insurance license that lets you sell final expense coverage in every state you pick. An agency must make sure every agent who takes calls meets these rules.
  • Give us true and complete details, and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Our team will never ask for your password or card number. If you think someone else has used your account, reset your password and tell us at once.

Your wallet

  • Adlux works on a prepaid wallet. You add money by card on Stripe’s secure checkout, and your calls are paid from your wallet balance.
  • The minimum deposit is $225.
  • Your calls pause automatically when your balance is too low for the next call. They can start again after you add money.
  • If you dispute a wallet payment with your card company, we may hold your wallet and pause your calls while the dispute is open.

Wallet balances are non-refundable except where required by law.

Prices

  • Each call type (Meta, YouTube and Connected TV) has its own price per call. The current prices are shown in your portal on Call types and on Wallet before you pay.
  • Your first 10 calls of each call type are charged at that call type’s first-10 price shown in the portal. Later calls are charged at its regular price.
  • A call is charged at the price shown in your portal when the call is delivered. If we change a price, the new price applies only to calls delivered after the change appears in your portal.

Which calls are charged

A call is charged only when it is connected to you and lasts at least the qualifying length:

  • Meta and YouTube calls: 90 seconds.
  • Connected TV calls: 60 seconds.

Shorter calls are not charged. Call length is measured by our call-tracking provider. Each charge shows in your Wallet and Call history.

Bad-call reports

  • If you think a charged call was a bad call, for example the caller was in a state you did not pick, had no bank account, or was too old to qualify, report it from your Call history or Wallet.
  • Every report is subject to review. Reporting a call does not guarantee a credit.
  • A credit is given only if the review approves it. An approved credit is added to your wallet.

Your responsibilities

Licensing

You are responsible for holding and keeping every license and carrier appointment you need in each state you pick, and for following insurance laws and carrier rules when you speak with callers and sell coverage.

Your own follow-up contact

The calls we send are inbound: the caller chose to call. If you later call, text or email a caller yourself, that contact is yours. You are responsible for getting any consent it needs and for following the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the National Do Not Call Registry, state do-not-call and telemarketing laws, and any request from the caller to stop contacting them.

Caller information

Use what you learn about callers only to help them with their coverage, keep it secure, and follow the privacy laws that apply to you. Calls may be recorded by our call-tracking provider, and recordings may be used to review calls and bad-call reports.

Your settings

Keep your licensed states, hours and the number your calls ring to accurate. They decide which calls reach you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell, transfer or share calls or caller information with another agent or company;
  • use Adlux for anything unlawful, misleading or abusive, including pressuring or misleading callers;
  • try to get into accounts or parts of the portal that are not yours, or interfere with how Adlux works;
  • copy, scrape or reverse engineer the portal.

Texts and emails

Text messages are optional. If you turn them on, you agree to receive Adlux account, deposit, call and setup reminder texts at the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to create an account. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We email you the messages your account needs, such as email confirmation, password reset links and wallet receipts, and the updates you turn on. You can turn updates off in Notifications. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your number and email address.

Pausing, suspension and closing

  • You can switch your calls off at any time with the On/Off switch on Take calls, and ask us to close your account at [email protected].
  • We may pause your calls, hold your wallet, or suspend or close your account if your details are false or out of date, your license lapses, a payment fails or is disputed, you break these terms or the law, you mistreat callers, or we must for legal or security reasons. Where we can, we will tell you why and what you can do about it.
  • When an account closes, any wallet balance is handled as described in Your wallet.
  • The parts of these terms that by their nature should last after your account closes, such as those on payments, your responsibilities and liability, keep applying.

No guarantee of results

Adlux and the calls we send are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including any promise of a number of calls, sales, income, or service without interruption or errors. Payments run through Stripe and calls through our call-tracking provider, and we are not responsible for their outages.

Limitation of liability

  • To the extent the law allows, Adlux is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, commissions, revenue, data or business, even if we were told they might happen.
  • To the extent the law allows, Adlux’s total liability for any claim about Adlux is limited to the amount you paid Adlux for calls in the 3 months before the event that led to the claim.
  • You agree to cover Adlux’s losses and reasonable legal costs from claims by others that come from your own contact with callers, your licensing, or your breach of these terms or the law.
  • Some states do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming.

Before starting a claim, please email [email protected] so we can try to resolve it with you first.

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and our Privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and Adlux about using Adlux.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the portal or by email before it applies. Using Adlux after a change applies means you accept the updated terms. A change never applies to a call that was already charged.
