For agents and call buyers

A call-quality checklist.
Know what you are buying.

Ask clear questions about the source, delivery and charge before committing a budget. Then use the call record to check what actually happened.

Start with what the person actually responded to.

Ask where the call begins: a consumer calling from an ad, an outbound conversation transferred by another person, or a form submission someone follows up. These are different starting points. Request an explanation of the message and product the person saw, rather than accepting “high intent” as the whole answer.

For Adlux final expense calls, the supported sources are Meta, YouTube and Connected TV. The consumer initiates the inbound call. Your own introduction and qualification still matter; the source does not mean a policy has already been selected.

Check exclusivity and delivery fit.

Who else receives it?

Ask whether the same inquiry is sold to other agents, whether a call is routed to one buyer at a time and what happens if nobody answers.

Can you serve the caller?

Confirm how licensed states, product fit, receiving numbers, hours and agent availability are applied. Ask how an incorrect match is reported.

Can you take the call now?

Check the on/off control, what happens while you are busy and whether changing a delivery number requires review.

For your Adlux setup, distinguish the mobile used for account verification from the phone that should receive customer calls. Select your licensed states and hours, then check that the source is ready before switching calls on. Turning new calls off does not disconnect an existing conversation.

Ask exactly when a call costs money.

Get the billable event, buffer, source price and rate changes in writing. Ask whether the timing is connected conversation time or another measure. Also confirm what happens on repeat calls, short calls and reported issues. Different providers’ terms should not be assumed to match.

Adlux’s current final expense rates are shown below. The first-ten allowance is separate for each source. A call that ends before its applicable buffer is not charged.

SourceFirst 10 billable callsAfter first 10Buffer
Meta$45 each$50 each90 seconds
YouTube$55 each$60 each90 seconds
Connected TV$70 each$75 each60 seconds

The Adlux wallet has a $225 minimum top-up and remains one flexible balance. Selected call types draw from that balance at their own prices. An estimated number of calls is not a guaranteed delivery quantity.

Make review and problem reporting practical.

  1. Match the charge to the conversation.

Look for a stable call ID, source, date, duration and charge. Ask whether you can listen to the recording and see enough detail to identify the specific issue.

  2. Understand the review process.

Find out which issues can be reported, how to submit supporting details and how a decision appears. A request for a credit is different from an approved credit.

  3. Save outcomes that you can verify.

Record conversations, applications, issued policies and premium consistently. Distinguish your recorded results from promises made in an advertisement.

In Adlux, use the call record when adding notes or requesting help so the team can review the correct conversation. Call history and your saved outcomes help connect what you spent with what happened afterward.

Choose from evidence, not a headline.

Compare a provider’s terms with how your agency actually works. A cheap call that your team cannot answer is not useful; a higher price does not prove better results. Look at comparable conversations and your own follow-through before expanding a budget.

This checklist is an operational buying guide, not legal advice or a promise of results. No source guarantees sales, income or call volume.

See the details before you decide.

Plan your call costs.

Use your own assumptions to estimate the call spend for your team.
